The recent Parse shut down made us feel a little uncomfortable.
Parse was great for prototyping, a loved service among developers and we could only imagine the tragedy for those out there who’ve come to rely on Parse Core.
But Facebook pulled the plug.
So our team is scrambling to build integrations with popular BaaS services, in order to bring developers top alternatives to Parse:
Today, we’re really happy to introduce our Firebase + Batch integration, letting you set-up an app & start sending push notifications in minutes.
(More Batch + BaaS integrations are coming – stay tuned and follow @Batch on Twitter).
Follow the steps

They never have.
@firebase please support push notifications for mobile. I'll love you forever.

Doesn’t seem so.
Google is 100% behind Firebase.

Not too long, apparently.
@batch is very easy to understand. 5 minutes of work, and the notifications are sent on my test app. So Easy. pic.twitter.com/XDSXNfTizJ
